Welcome to the community site for Open Mic & Jam events in Budapest, Hungary
For the most recent events and updates — like cancellations, announcements, one-off events, partner events — you should follow our Facebook page, whether you like it or not! Then check under the Events menu for co-hosted events AND also the Event Summary under our Posts menu, where we list recurring events that we know of. (You can do this even if you don’t have a Fb profile.) Then find a time and a venue that fits you, and if you want to perform, read the description for each individual event. You can often sign up in advance by contacting us or as specified in the event, or show up early and you’ll most likely play anyway.
You can also sign up to be a FEATURED ARTIST, playing an extended set, by writing to us.
If you want another open event listed on our page or co-hosted by us, also just send a message and describe what you have going.
Upcoming events co-hosted by Open Mic Budapest on Facebook
These are not the only open events, just the ones whose organizers decide to co-host with us. (Check the Event Summary below for more.)

Experienced or not, it’s always a good idea to read through a summary of open mic guidelines compiled on the basis of years of hosting them. You can also look through a list of related articles gathered elsewhere, including info on open mics / open stages worldwide.
